Thanks to a friend of mine, I scored a weekend for free at the Grand Hyatt here in Melbourne. (thanks Mark – I owe you yet again :)

Not a bad room and I made the most of it but the timing wasn’t the best – I had a number of things that kept me out most nights (friend’s birthday on Friday night, DJ’ing on Saturday night and another birthday party on Sunday night). Add to that the short notice (I only found out on the Friday) made it rather difficult to get someone to share it with and, well, yeah, it was fun and a great thing to have but…
